This model, from the industrial automation division of General Electric, is a part of the QuickPanel series of Human/Machine interface touch screen graphic displays. The QPK-CTDE-0000 model is a next generation device, intended to be an efficient replacement for older display models that are integrated with physical buttons and status/action LED lights. This model is well-suited for smaller, original equipment manufacturing and machine applications.
The QPK-CTDE-0000 model is outfitted with an application memory capacity of 2 megabytes of Flash EPROM (erasable, programmable, read only memory), which allows for the development of detailed applications. The hardware that this model is outfitted with unfortunately does not include any auxiliary input or output ports, but has ports that are compatible with other connections, such as printers, a serial port and download port, a CompactFlash Storage port, and a 10BaseT Ethernet Port.
The overall dimensions of this H/M interface give it a standard set of measurements: a 6.73 in/171 mm width, a 5.43 in/138 mm height, and a 2.36 in/ 60 mm depth.
