Designated as the “QPK2D101L2P” model of QuickPanel series, this is one of their human/machine interface touch screens. The QuickPanel series was developed and produced entirely by General Electric, via their industrial automation hardware branch of the corporation.
This product is now out of production from GE, and widely considered obsolete by current technical standards. However, our technical staff at AX Control are able to fully optimize and restore these older pieces of equipment to fit the modern standards of automation today, and sell you the product, guaranteed to not be Dead on Arrival.
This model is a one of the miniature “Junior” models of QuickPanel touch screens. The viewing area for information display is a 5.7 inch screen, and resolution is in a crisp 320 by 240 pixels. The standard measurements of this unit give it the dimensions of 8.15 inches/207 millimeters in width, 6.18 inches/157 millimeters in height, and then 2.28 inches/58 millimeters in depth. The weight of this unit makes it a lightweight piece of machine based technology, with 2.4 pounds, or 1.1 kilograms.
The environmental standard that the unit is outfitted to withstand gives it an operational range from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, or 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The storage temperature range is just a little wider, from negative 20 to 60 degrees C, or negative 4 to 144 degrees F.
The protective covering of the model is a 4X/12 NEMA graded frame case, which also has an IP-65 rating. The UL, cUL, and CE certifications are still up to code.
