About the QPT-MBP-201
QPT-MBP-201
This model of the QuickPanel Plus Operator Interface modules was built initially by the industrial giant, General Electric. It is an all in one microprocessor computer designed for maximum adaptability, and given the designation number of “QTP-MBP-201.”
An Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) core microprocessor served as the inspiration for this model. The ARM core processor combined with a high-resolution touch screen operator interface provides a variety of communications options. Operators can connect to most industrial hardware using the QuickPanel Plus communications ports.
The QuickPanel Plus is equipped with several types of memory to satisfy the most demanding applications. A section of Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) is split between the operating system and application memory. Additionally, a section of Non-volatile Random Access Flash Memory (NOVRAM), functioning as a virtual hard drive, is divided between the operating system and application memory. Retentive memory is a battery backed, Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) to store and protect data during a possible power failure.
