IC692MDR741 is an I/O and Power Supply Base Module that is manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation as part of Series 90-20. This module has 16 input points and 12 output points. The input power is 24 VDC. The output power is relay. The power supply is 240 VAC. Using the mounting screws on the end of the unit, mount this module on a flat panel area. Remember that the power supply converts the input source power to voltages required for internal circuitry. The power supply also provides an isolated 24 VDC supply to power DC input circuits, indicators, and switches. The fuse on this power supply is user replaceable. In order to access the fuse, remove the CPU module from the I/O base. The CPU module detects high level DC or AC voltages after they are filtered by the input circuits.

Two, 20-terminal removable terminal strips are provided on the baseplate module. Put the output connections and the power supply at the bottom, and put the input connections at the top. To program this module, use either MicroProgramming software on an industrial or personal computer, or a MicroHand-Held Programmer. Configuration with the MicroHand-Held Programmer must be done while the programmer is attached to and interfacing with the PLC. Modes of operation on the Hand-Held Programmer include: Program Mode, Data Mode, Protection Mode, and Configuration Mode. The shock absorption is 15 g’s for 11 msec. The vibration resistance is 3.5mm peak-to-peak displacement 5-10Hz, 1G 10-200 Hz. The base weighs 3.81 pounds. The dimensions of the module are 6.4 in x 10.5 in x 3.54 in. The battery shelf life is 8 to 10 years.
