About the IC693UDR002

The IC693UDR002 is a part of the Series 90 Micro Programmable Logic Controller line manufactured by GE Fanuc. IC693UDR002 has a hold-up time of 4 ms at 10 V DC and 10 ms at 12 V DC and an inrush time of 10 ms per 81 A. The power supply rating on the PLC is 15 W. DC input points can be used in both positive or negative modes and contain circuits that filter incoming voltages. The high-speed counter function on the IC693UDR002 enables direct signal processing up to 5 Khz, for industrial applications. 

There is a multitude of applications that do include velocity measurements, motor control, and material handling. In addition, some counters can be programmed independently in either mode utilizing Hand-Held Programmer (HHP) or the Logicmaster 90-30/20/Micro software. These functions and abilities make the IC693UDR002 highly desirable. 

The CPU has control over relay outputs as they remain open by default. Operators should note that there are no parts on DC input/relay output controllers that are user-replaceable. DC power supplied controllers such as IC693UDR002 also require additional current during startup voltage (typically 4 V  DC) with a minimum of 2 A to start DC power supply.
