The IC693UEX011 is a part of the Series 90 Micro Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and was manufactured by General Electric (GE) Fanuc. This series was made to be easily installed and configured and offers advanced programming features. Being part of this series also means that it comes with a built-in CPU, Power supply, and Input/Output count applications. This PLC is a 14-point expansion unit featuring eight DC input points and six relay output points, along with a 24 VDC output power supply. The power specifications that are needed to operate the IC693UEX011 are 100-240 VAC. The module’s inrush time is 2 ms for 40 A and features a hold-up of 10 ms at 85 VAC. Keep this in mind when installing the machine. 

It is important to note that base unit Micro PLCs must be turned off during connection to an expansion unit, otherwise the base will be damaged. This cable cannot be substituted by another type or brand, as it contains keyed connectors, and must be correctly connected prior to turning on the device to prevent damage to either unit.
