The IC693UEX012 programmable controller is a Series 90 Micro that was made by General Electric Fanuc. There are many different input/output ports on the top and bottom of the IC693UEX012 programmable controller. The first two input ports at the top are labeled 24 VDC OUT and have two separate ports for positive and negative. The next five input ports at the top are labeled as one through four and the last one is labeled as COM1. Being part of the Series 90 Micro the IC693UEX012 has some built-in features that come standard for this series, which include. 

A built-in communication port that works well with other series 90 protocols such as SNP and SNPX. Another feature is the IC693UEX012 is its built-in CPU and power supply. The IC693UEX012 is also able to be used as a cost-effective platform for lowered Input/Output applications. With all of these devices already built-in, the configuration is rather simple and takes no time at all. This is just one way the IC693UEX012 displays its highly reliable functionality, as well as its versatility. Another part of being in the Series 90 Micro, also includes a field control station that has its own MFP which allows the IC693UEX012 to support nearly seven Input and Output modules.
