The GE Fanuc IC693UXE122 is part of the 90 Micro PLC series of 28 and 23 points programmable controllers. Its main function is software configuration and application. It also works well as a supplier for additional input and output points (I/O) for basic 90 Micro PLC. Each GE Fanuc IC693UXE122 unit provides an expansion of 14 I/O points: 8 DC input and 6 DC output. It has a built-in CPU, and power system as well as an Input/Output counter, which in turn allows for easy configuration and application.  

Being part of the Series 90 Micro allows for the IC693UXE122 to be compatible with other Logicmaster programming software such as 90-3/90-20. Also, another component of the IC693UXE122 is its password protection system designed to limit access to PLC content. Each output connector port must be connected to the input port of the following unit. Connecting in the reverse position will damage the DC input circuit when the system is powered up. Up to four expansion units can be connected in series to a base 90 Micro PLC. The power requirements of the IC693UXE122 are 12/24V VDC.
