The IC609SJR102 PLC unit has many components on its faceplate. The top and bottom parts are home to the I/O terminals. The terminals that are located on the top of the IC609SJR102 PLC unit are the input terminals, which are rated at 24 VDC. The terminals that are located on the bottom of the IC609SJR102 PLC unit are the output terminals, which are rated at 115/230 VAC. Below the top terminals and on the top left side of the faceplate, you will find four status indicator LEDs. The top LED is green and has white text which reads “RUN” to its left. The next one is red and is labeled as “BATT.” The one below that is also red and is labeled as “CPU.” The last one is green and is labeled as “PWR.” Directly below this row of lights, there is a long, thin port. To that port’s right, you will find a display screen with an extensive keypad to its right.

For troubleshooting purposes, it is a good idea to utilize the programmer tool, which is the main diagnostic unit for the Series One Junior devices.
