About the IC800VMA202
The IC800VMA202 is a VersaMotion 2000-Watt Series servo amplifier manufactured by GE Fanuc, matched for use with the VersaMotion α and βi Series Servo Motors and GE Fanuc DSM300 Series motion controllers. With a rated output power of 2000W, this amplifier requires a Three-phase voltage of 220VAC with a frequency of 50/60hz +/-5%. As any other electrical device IC800VMA202 also has permissible voltage fluctuation which goes from 170VAC to 255VAC. The electronic gear ratio of this amplifier is N/M where N: 1~32767, M: 1:32767 (1/50<N/M<200) and the whole system is fan cooled.
Physical dimensions of IC800VMA202 are 245mm in height, 110mm in width with 206mm in length and 70mm should be added for connected cables so they wouldn’t get bent. IC800VMA202 works on 0 to 55°C environmental temperature and requires forced cooling for operating above 55°C. Storage temperature should be anywhere between -20°C and 65°C and humidity from 0 to 90% non-condensing of course. As others, VersaMotion series amplifiers IC800VMA202 also offers an effective solution for a broad range of motion applications and has a built-in dynamic brake. It supports stand-alone positioning capability with up to 8 stored motion profiles and can be connected to any analog motion controller or any pulse command interface. Configuration parameters and system information can conveniently be accessed by built-in touchpad and display, but Amplifier setup can also be accomplished using the VersaMotion software included with Proficy Machine Edition. It has three types of control modes: Position, Velocity, and Torque.
