Product Description

The IC800VMCE1030 is an encoder cable for 1-3KW produced by General Electric. It may have also been mass-produced under the manufacturing names of GE FANUC and FANUC depending on what year the product was created.

The IC800VMCE1030 is a 3-meter cable and connects the encoder on the servo motor to the CN2 terminal of the Servo Drive.  It is specifically used in the VersaMotion series of Servo Motors and Amplifiers.

To prevent damage or signal feedback noise from other cables, the IC800VMCE1030 should be protected in a separate conduit or wire tray from the servo power cable. To further limit signal noise, place the separate conduits or wire trays 30cm or about 1 ft apart. It is important to make sure the encoder cable is correctly attached to the CN2 connection, failure to do so will result in product failure or electric shock.
