Product Description

The IC800VMCP2050 is a GE FANUC produced Servo Motor Power cable. This model is 5 meters long and is for the 2-kilowatt 3-phase VersaMotion servo motor.

The IC800VMCP2050 is used to connect the servos drives U, V, and W terminals to the actual servo motor. This particular model comes with only the power cable and does not come with a brake cable option. To get both the power cable and the brake cable, please refer to product number IC800CMCB2050.

GE FANUCadvises that the IC800VMCP2050 be installed separately from the motor’s encoder cables to prevent unwanted signal noise. It is recommended that they be placed in separate wiring trays and that you separate those trays by 30cm.

As always, use extreme caution when handling the IC800VMCP2050.  To prevent injury or a short circuit in the motor when altering a power cable or unplugging it, be sure to wait up to 10 minutes before handling it. Also, consult the Charge LED indicator to make sure there isn’t any lingering voltage running through the device.
