About the VMIMB1-5576
VMIMB1-5576
The VMIC/GE Fanuc modules are built as a series of purpose-designated boards for tasks such as CPU management and Input and Output functionality. The original manufacturers of the VMIC/GE Fanuc boards was the industrial automation division of General Electric, however, after being pulled from their production line, was then produced by Abaco Systems. The models available at AX Control Inc. from that lineup are all used hardware.
This VMIC/GE Fanuc board is designated with the ID VMIMB1-5576. This model is designed as a fiber optic, reflective memory board. This board is outfitted with several Interrupt capabilities, as well as a fully integrated PCI bus board. The VMIMB1-5576 is able to interface with other models of VMIC 5576 boards, in order to deliver a high quality, high performance rate. This unit is designed to be able to run while set up in a “daisy chain” formation, while attached to a fiber optic network system.
The VMIMB1-5576 board is built to transfer and receive data by connecting to the on-board global RAM. The data is then sent automatically to the same location as the connected reflective memory. It is able to interface with communication systems such as PCI and VME multibus systems.
A Windows NT operating system driver is available for the VMIMB1-5576 unit. This driver is NDIS compliant, and is able to support configured protocols, including TCP/IP. A portion of the VMIMB1-5576 unit’s reflective memory is reserved for network use by this driver.
AX Control Inc. is able to provide the VMIMB1-5576 as one of our reconditioned pieces of industrial hardware.
