About the VMIVME-3113A
VMIVME-3113A
The VMIC line of devices is a series of boards which are designed with several different functions: such as the, analog to digital (and vice versa) converters, the central processing modules, and both analog and digital input and output modules. These devices were all developed, designed, and manufactured by General Electric’s industrial automation division of production. The VMIC boards are available from AX Control, as used yet refurbished materials. Each of these units are covered with our comprehensive protective warranty deal.
The VMIVME-3113A module is an analog to digital converter, which is designed to be able to support up to 64 channels of differential and/or single-ended wide range analog inputs (plus or minus 10 mV to plus or minus 10 V).
The VMIVME-3113A module is integrated with a 64 word dual-port, able to provide storage for a continuous scan of all of the unit’s channels. The different scanning modes are automatically engaged upon powering up, a system reset, or if they are entered manually under program control. The dual port registers allow VMEbus access at any time for operators to be able to read the latest stored data. The unit’s jumper selectable, programmable gain amplifiers are able to support gain ranges from 1, 10, 100, 200, and up to 500. The analog to digital conversion time for the VMIVME-3113A is 15 µs.
