About the VMIVME-3126A
VMIVME-3126A
The VMIVME-3126A module is a part of the many converter boards, designed and developed by General Electric’s automation division, and then produced by Abaco Systems. This unit is a part of an advanced series of products, a set of high resolution, fully isolated, analog to digital converter (ADC) boards.
The VMIVME-3126A model includes a number of features that are standard among these units. These models are integrated with a set of 16 isolated analog input, each with 16 bit resolution. Each of these inputs are outfitted with a dedicated analog to digital converter. Input conditioning, reference, and power supply reservoirs are all available for each of these inputs as well.
The VMIVME-3126A is equipped to accommodate channels that are completely isolated via an opto-isolators from the VMEbus unit and the embedded digital circuitry. The self testing and analysis capabilities of this module is initiated by a VMEbus system reset, or by the execution of a software command by a user.
The VMIVME-3126A comes integrated with a digital signal processor module (DSP), which is able to provide the capabilities to control and manage software correction data. The unit also has memory that is formatted into a Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (E2PROM), which is able to load offset and gain coefficients into the digital signal processor during a system reset condition.
This unit is available from our inventory at AX Control, completely refurbished and repaired.
