About the VMIVME-4132-000
VMIVME-4132-000
The VMIC series of products is an array of devices which were initially developed and manufactured by the industrial automation division of General Electric. However, the VMIC line of products was then acquired and manufactured by Abaco Systems. The unit listed here is the VMIVME-4132-000, a model of the analog output board.
The VMIVME-4132-000 is a 32 channel analog output board, which is designed to provide operators with a set of high quality analog channels. These channels are able to be programmed with on board jumpers, configuring them to be able to operate in a variety of voltage ranges. All of the output connections have a 12 bit resolution, and are capable of sourcing or sinking 10 milliamperes at plus or minus 10 volts.
The standard characteristics of the VMIVME-4132-000 include several features, such as the VMEbus Compliance: The analog output board is a standard double height printed circuit board which is compatible with the VMEbus specification.
The physical address for the board may be selected by on-board jumpers. VMEbus address lines A07 through A15 are decoded for board selection.
Address modifier bits are jumper-selected and decoded to support both nonprivileged short I/O, supervisory short I/O, or both. The board is factory-configured for supervisory short I/O.
These key features, as well as others, are available to analog I/O boards throughout the VMIC line of devices, available from AX Control, used, yet completely refurbished and optimized.
