About the 139-V1EFTZ-DK
There is a memory circuit available with the 139-V1EFTZ-DK relay which will merge the phase currents into the relay over time. Overloads of the relay or the start-ups of the motor that have occurred are remembered by the integrated memory circuits and can minimize the remaining time available needed for future overloads. If no overloads have occurred within the past thirty minutes of the operation of the relay the memory circuit will be fully discharged. If the motor overheats and a trip is caused the relay has a feature that prevents it from restarting by having the relay lockout and allowing the motor to cool.
Ground fault protection on this relay is important in preventing failure or even potential errors during the operation. If an insulation breakdown occurs in the motor windings a current path between the high-voltage supply and the motor casing will be provided. When this occurs it is highly recommended that the motor be shut down prior to any damage occurring due to the structure, but also to ensure that the motor casing is above ground potential which will present an intense safety hazard to the user.
Fault diagnosis is also available on the 139-V1EFTZ-DK relay which will record the shutdown of the motor and diagnose what occurred to make the motor shut down at a later time for analysis. The conditions that were present at the time of the shutdown will be displayed on the front panel indicators of the 139-V1EFTZ-DK relay until it is reset.
