About the 169-10C-120
While motor management can be a difficult task requiring an onslaught of auxiliary metering and protective equipment, GE Multilin’s 169-10C-120 cuts down on extraneous connections by offering a robust array of features in one compact unit. Capable of monitoring, managing, and safeguarding motor systems, the 169-10C-120 reduces system downtime, maintenance costs, and troubleshooting time.
When ordered with the drawout chassis, the relay is encased in a dustproof, durable case that allows the relay to be removed from service without triggering a motor shut-down, enabling it to be repaired, tested, replaced, or calibrated with minimal disruption. The relay locks into the case snugly, preventing the case from moving unpredictably during routine operation. Out of case, the relay has an approximate length of 11.5 inches, an approximate width of 7.5 inches, and an approximate height of 5 inches.
The faceplate features a 48-character alphanumeric display, a series of five LEDs, and a keypad. The 48-character alphanumeric display is operable at a temperature range of 32°F to 131°F. It can display system data as well as be used to configure setpoints. The keypad can be used in conjunction with the display to program setpoints and review values measured by the system. Finally, the LEDs are labeled trip, alarm, aux. 1, aux. 2, and service; the first four indicate if the aforementioned processes are active as where the service LED indicates when the relay fails a self-assessment and requires user intervention.
