About the 269-100P-120
The 269-100P-120 is a Multilin motor management relay manufactured by GE. The 269-100P-120 is designed for integrated control and protection for medium-sized AC motors. The 269-100P-120 reduces troubleshooting and maintenance costs, can be upgraded in the field, and simplifies testing procedures. It allows the user to access data through standard RS485 communications using Modbus RTU.
Standard features of the 269-100P-120 include:
-
1 programmable analog output
-
4 output relays
-
5 factory-programmed digital inputs
-
8 programmable RTDs
-
8 standard overload curves and user-defined overload FlexCurve
-
Short-circuit and ground fault
-
2 auxiliary relays
-
Pre-trip alarm warnings
-
Emergency restart ability
-
100 Ohm platinum RTD
The 269-100P-120 has an undercurrent function that will provide an early warning for certain conditions, such as a loss of airflow within fans, or suction within pumps. Trip levels can be set for temperature, overload, acceleration, or the number of starts per hour. The 269-100P-120 runs in continuous self-check mode with or without a motor running and will send a signal to a user-selected output if an alarm is triggered.
The front panel of the 269-100P-120 is designed with a 48 character LCD display (alpha-numeric.) The display is backlit to allow for easy viewing. Below this are 5 LED status indicators. Four of these (trip, alarm, aux 1 and aux 2) indicate an output is activated. The Service LED is lit during a self-test alarm. The keypad is used to select actual values, causes of alarms and trips, fault diagnosis, and to program setpoints. The exterior case meets IP40X and is corrosion and flame retardant.
