About the 269-100P-HI
The 269-100P-HI is a Multilin motor management relay manufactured by GE. Using software, the user can use the 269-100P-HI to program setpoints, read actual values, monitor status, and plot and view trending graphs of selected actual values. The module comes standard with RS485 communications.
The 269-100P-HI is designed with a backlit LED screen (48 characters, alpha-numeric.) Below the display screen are five LED status indicators: trip, alarm, Aux. 1, Aux. 2, and Service. The first four LED indicators will be lit whenever an output is activated. The Service LED is only lit during a self-test. At the bottom of the front panel is a keypad, which is used to select actual values, program setpoints, and to select causes of alarms and trips. The exterior case is corrosion and flame retardant and meets IP40X standards.
Three-phase CTs scale the incoming current signals to the 269-100P-HI relay. A separate ground fault CT is provided to scale input ground fault current.
The 269-100P-HI is rated 90-300 VDC/80-265 VAC control power. The module is UL listed, CSA approved, CE certified, and manufactured to ISO standards. Operating temperature of -25 to +60 degrees Celsius with 0-95% humidity, non-condensing.
It is important to note during installation that--while the internal circuitry of the 269-100P-HI is shielded, to minimize interference the relay should be installed away from high current conductors or other sources with strong magnetic fields. The 269-100P is designed to mount with four washers and 10-32 x 3/8 screws. The user should position the unit so the front panel keyboard is accessible.
