About the 269-120N-120VAC
The 269-120N-120VAC is a motor management relay from the Multilin line manufactured by GE. The 269-120N120VAC is designed for the monitoring, protection, and control of medium-sized AC motors.
The relay is capable of data logging, current and thermal capacity metering, temperature monitoring, and voltage and power metering (with the addition of an optional MPM (motor protection meter.)
Features of the 269-120N-120VAC include:
-
120 Ohm nickel RTD
-
microprocessor-based technology
-
Will shut off the motor when thermal limits are exceeded
-
Can detect possibly damaging or hazardous conditions
-
Latched main trip relay, alarm relay, and emergency restart
-
User programming available on-site. Keypad and interface give the end-user options for local programming and data viewing. While the 269-120N-120VAC is pre-programmed for basic applications, the end-user can make minor changes to suit their needs.
-
Help key. On the front panel, this function can be accessed at any time for more information.
-
Easy-to-read interface. The 48-character LCD is backlit for easy viewing. 5 LED status indicators update the user on output relay operation and self-test alarms.
The case of the 269-120N-120VAC meets IP40X standards and is corrosion resistant and flame retardant. 4 washers and 4 10-32 x 3/8" screws should be used to mount the 269-120N-120VAC through pre-drilled mounting holes. It is recommended the relay be placed away from strong magnetic fields that may cause noise pickup and interference.
The 269-120N-120VAC is rated 250VAC 15A resistive, 1/4HP 125 VAC, 1/2 HP 250 VAC. Inputs are 80-150 VAC/VDC 2A max. Frequency is 50/60 Hz or DC. Overvoltage category is II. Pollution degree is 2.
