About the 269PLUS-10C-120VAC
The 269PLUS-10C-120VAC is a versatile, high-voltage relay in the GE Multilin 269 PLUS Motor Management Relay series. This series offers operators some degree of flexibility in the configuration and programming of relays to better suit a wide range of motor protection applications. The 269PLUS-10C-120VAC model comes with 10 Ohm copper RTD and 120 VAC control voltage options.
Along with several RTD types, fail-safe relay options, and relay contact arrangement choices, General Electric 269 PLUS relays offer the flexibility of a custom curve feature. With this feature, users enter their own breakpoints to form a custom curve, allowing this relay to be used in applications beyond those in which the eight standard overload curves can be used.
All 269PLUS-10C-120VAC relay set points are field programmable through the use of a front panel display and keypad. This display can also be used to monitor operations and review diagnostic features, including alarm conditions and unit self-test results. Along with the built-in display and keypad, an RS485 port permits the connection of the relay to programmable controllers and computers.
The 269PLUS-10C-120VAC does not carry the primary motor current. Instead, it serves as a pilot device. Each motor that is to be protected requires one 269 PLUS relay. More information on the 269PLUS-10C-120VAC model and the 269 PLUS series, in general, can be found in GE Multilin 269 Plus Motor Management Relay Instruction Manual 1601-0013-D3.
