About the 269PLUS-10C-HI
This high voltage relay in the GE Multilin 269 PLUS line has a control power voltage range of 90 to 300 VDC / 80 to 265 VAC. Relay model 269PLUS-10C-HI has the 10C input sensor type with the 10 Ohm copper RTD option. Other configurations are detailed in GE Multilin 269 Plus Motor Management Relay Instruction Manual 1601-0013-D3. There are currently several variations of this relay in stock at AX Control.
269PLUS-10C-HI, like all relays in the 269 PLUS series, is intended for use with medium AC motors. For normal and safe operations, one 269 PLUS relay is required for each motor that is to be protected. When installed and configured properly, the 269PLUS-10C-HI provides a range of protections for the motor and the associated mechanical equipment/systems.
The General Electric Multilin 269 PLUS relays do not carry the primary motor current. The 269PLUS-10C-HI acts as a pilot device, monitoring phase and ground fault currents through current transformers and causing contact or breaker to open if fault conditions are detected.
The 269PLUS-10C-HI stores pre-trip values in non-volatile memory along with the motor statistical records, relay setpoints, and “learned” motor parameters. Learned parameters are values that the 269PLUS-10C-HI has adapted to during its use in specific applications. Values 269 PLUS relays are designed to adapt to and “learn” acceleration time, cool-down rates, motor inrush current, and negative sequence current K factor.
