About the 269PLUS-W-100P-120
The 269PLUS-W-100P-120 from the Multilin 269 PLUS series serves as part of the legacy line of General Electric motor management relays designed for the protection of three-phase AC motors and their associated mechanical systems. These relays are available in high-voltage and low-voltage models with several RTD input sensor options.
General Electric's 269PLUS-W-100P-120 with a 100 Ohm platinum RTD utilizes silver alloy relay contacts that have a minimum permissible load of 5 VDC or 12 VDC at 100 mA. Both the phase current inputs and the ground fault current input have a sample time of 2 ms.
High voltage 269 PLUS relays have a control power range of 90 to 300 VDC and 80 to 265 VAC. These GE Multilin relays can be powered from a source that is either AC or DC, with an external 3 A fuse (rated to the required voltage) used if the control power input is to exceed 250 V. These control power ranges include tolerances.
The 269PLUS-W-100P-120 relay comes with eight standard overload curves, however, if one of these curves is not suitable, a new curve may be configured by inputting new breakpoints and creating a custom overload curve. The detection level of 269 PLUS relays is ±1% of primary CT amps with a trip time accuracy of ±1 second up to 13 seconds, and ±8% of the trip time over 13 seconds.
