About the 269PLUS-W-100P-120VAC
Several alarm and diagnostic features quickly alert operators of conditions outside of normal and safe operations. The 269PLUS-W-100P-120VAC has pre-trip alarm warnings as well as a built-in firmware self-test feature. These two features minimize motor downtime by allowing operators to quickly identify and address these conditions.
The input sensor types of the 269PLUS-W-100P-120VAC relay are 100 Ohm RTD. These inputs have a 0 to 200°C trip/alarm setpoint range, with a ± 2°C display accuracy. There are multiple RTD inputs in each 269 PLUS relay. Any of these inputs that are not assigned to stator winding protection can instead be used to perform temperature monitoring functions when individual settings are applied. Through this feature, the motor and driven load bearings can both be monitored by the 269PLUS-W-100P-120VAC.
The 120 VAC control power of this GE Multilin relay puts it in the high-voltage model category. 269 PLUS relays with control power in this range have a 20 VA maximum power consumption. Relays similar to this one are available in low-voltage versions as well (20 – 60 VDC, 20 – 48 VAC).
GE Multilin 269PLUS-W-100P-120VAC has a built-in self-test feature that maintains a continual self-check, even when the motor is not running. If any internal malfunction is found, the front panel of the relay displays a status indication, and a signal is sent to an output relay (user selectable).
