The 345-EP5G5HESNNSNDN is a 345 series transformer protection relay. This series was created by GE Multilin to be made from a list of possible optional features in unit functions such as communications and current protection. This unit uses mostly baseline features aside from the drawout design, which is a great quality-of-life feature for operators. This drawout design allows for processes that require internal access to the unit such as maintenance to be done much easier and quicker, increasing total system uptime compared to a non-drawout relay.

System Features

The 345-EP5G5HESNNSNDN's standard features include the communications, current protections, and language. This unit has a front USB and a rear RS485 port for communications, and it supports Modbus RTU, DNP3.0, and IEC 60870-5-103 protocols. The current protections in this model include neutral/phase/ground/negative instantaneous overcurrent, neutral/phase/ground/negative time overcurrent, and percent differential protection among other helpful protections. This unit is programmed in English and does not have programmable LEDs.
