About the 350-E-P1-G1-H-E-E-N-M-3E-D-N
Model 350-E-P1-G1-H-E-E-N-M-3E-D-N is one of the many 350 Feeder Protection Systems but is different from the other models depending on some of the characters within the order code. The fourth character within the code will indicate what type of power supply this system operates on; this model will operate on a supply of alternating current or direct current, and the direct current voltage associated with this model is one hundred and ten to two hundred and fifty volts whereas the alternating current voltage is one hundred and ten to two hundred and thirty volts. Please note that this is just one example of the characters within the code breakdown. The complete list of the corresponding characters and their functions are found in the first chapter of the 350 Feeder Protection System Instruction Guide on page five.
Chapter five of the aforementioned Instruction Guide details the quick setup of the system on the front control panel. The settings for the overcurrent elements and power system parameters will be set through this front control panel. Some of the features of the overcurrent protection set parameters on this model are ground IOC, ground TOC, phase TOC, and more. The phase TOC function has a default trip with range trip, range disabled, range latched alarm, and range alarm with PH TOC curve, pickup, and TDM on the device.
Some precautions need to be taken when operating the 350-E-P1-G1-H-E-E-N-M-3E-D-N system, for example, if the equipment has not been shutoff prior to removing the power connections dangerous voltages can occur which will cause severe injury and in even more severe cases possibly death.
