About the 369-HI-B-M-0-0
The 369-HI-B-M-0-0 is a relay module from GE’s 369 series. These motor protection relays are used to protect three-phase motors and associated equipment. Although these units have been moved into legacy status by the OEM, AX Control does our best to maintain a robust on-hand stock within our warehouse of as many versions as possible to better meet the needs of our customers. In some cases, we may have both refurbished and never-used surplus modules available. Talk to our staff for more information.
The 369-HI-B-M-0-0 includes three RS485 rear ports as well as an RS232 front panel port. Setpoints for the unit can be entered using software and a connected computer, or they can be entered using the 40-digit LCD display and the front panel keypad. The front panel also includes multiple LED indicators (all labeled for easy identification.) The rear panel of the unit includes a customer-accessible fuse.
The 369-HI-B-M-0-0 has backspin voltage detection as an option. This input lets the relay sense whether the motor spins after primary power has been removed. Backspin voltage inputs have to be supplied by a separate VT mounted on the motor side (downstream) of the contact or breaker. This option also allows the 369 to check the Bus Valid Level before auto-restart as a way to allow the bus voltage to recover.
GE manuals and user guides will provide more detailed information regarding installation and maintenance. These documents were provided with your OEM purchase. AX Control may have replacements if you need them.
