About the 469-P1-HI-A1-E
Equipped with an auto-configuration feature, General Electric Multilin’s 469-P1-HI-A1-E features streamlined installation so that it can begin monitoring, protecting, and controlling medium to large motors even faster. The 469-P1-HI-A1-E offers functions such as overtemperature protection, torque protection, and current unbalance correction to keep motors running smoothly and preserve system life. The 469 also features technology like waveform capture, event reports, and data logging to reduce troubleshooting times. System health reports can even suggest when it is best to do preventative maintenance.
This version of the 469 comes with an enhanced display, which includes an expanded keypad and a considerably wider 40-character LCD. The display can show system metrics when not in active use, scrolling through a list of up to twenty user-set variables. The front of the panel includes over twenty LEDs that provide a quick reference for system processes and health. LEDs can be green, red, or amber depending on how healthy the process is. LED reference points include Relay In Service, Hot RTD, Loss of Load, Overload Pickup, and more.
Some users question how to differentiate between GE Multilin’s 369 series and 469 series. While the two models share many similarities, the 469 has a few features that advantage it over the older series. The Multilin 469 series includes synchronous motor protection, which is not a feature of the 369. The 469 can also be used for large or medium motor systems as where the 369 is only intended for medium-sized motors. Finally, the 469 has close coil supervision and the 369 does not.
