About the 469-P5-HI-A20
When used in conjunction with General Electric Multilin’s EnerVista 469 software, the 469-P5-HI-A20 Motor Management Relay offers a suite of capabilities to safeguard your motor, extend motor life, and troubleshoot more effectively. The relay’s metering feature can record variables such as voltage, frequency, and demand; it can then feed that information into the EnerVista program for graphing and export. The data can be analyzed to understand best times for preventative maintenance and to understand what is going wrong and right within the motor system.
The “A20” located in the model number indicates that this particular version of the relay is equipped with 4 to 20 mA analog outputs rather than the 0 to 1 mA outputs of other parts in the series. The 4 to 20 mA analog output makes faults more easily detectable, as 0 mA will indicate a definite problem and cannot be confused with the baseline for the system.
The 469-P5-HI-A20 includes multiple RTD inputs that can determine actual temperature and hottest point for the motor system. The RTDs are three wire and those wires are composed of 100 Ω Nickel, 120 Ω Nickel,10 Ω Copper, 100 Ω Platinum. RTD settings can be edited through the relay's setpoint system, and the data produced by the RTDs may be trended, graphed, and exported through the EnerVista 469 software program.
