About the 469-P5-LO-A20
Produced by GE Multilin as part of their 469 series, the 469-P5-LO-A20 is one of the low control power models and functions at a range of 24 to 60 VDC and 20 to 48 VAC at 48 to 62 Hz. The relay is intended to protect and manage motors ranging from medium to large.
The 469-P5-LO-A20 setpoint system increases configurability by offering the user a large array of customizable settings that directly affect the functions of the relay and motor system. Inputs can be assigned, time intervals can be adjusted, and data can be reviewed or cleared, among other functions. Setpoints can first be easily established through the relay’s Auto-Configuration feature and later adjusted as users come to understand the system’s needs.
The 469 relay has five pre-assigned digital inputs and four that are assignable, making up a grand total of nine digital inputs. The five that are pre-assigned are consistently functional, while the four digital inputs remain inert until proper assignment is made by the user. Some examples of assignable inputs include the Remote Alarm function, Remote Trip function, and Speed Switch Trip function.
The relay also has four analog output channels that range from 4 to 20mA, demarcated by the “A20” located in the model number. The analog output channels can work with different variables such as power factor, kW demand, and hottest bearing RTD.
