The 745-W3-P155-G5-HI-A-L-E-H is part of General Electric Multilin’s 745 series and has a number of adaptive features that can monitor and react to system changes in real time. This highly modifiable Transformer Protection Relay has a vast number of ports on its rear panel so that users can wire in a fashion specific to their system’s needs. 

Denoted by the “L” in the product number, the optional loss of life feature included in this version of the model is able to assess how much the total insulation life of the transformer has elapsed. This calculation is based on IEEE standards and offers insight into system longevity over time. The loss of life metrics can be found by checking the “TOTAL ACCUM LOSS OF LIFE” value displayed either on the enhanced forty character liquid crystal display or in the EnerVista 745 software program.

The EnerVista 745 software program is GE’s industry-leading program that enables users to monitor, maintain, and create setpoints for the transformer system. The 745 can display metrics collected by the DCS or SCADA monitoring systems and graph this data for further review. 

The “P155” of the model number signifies that this model’s windings possess the following values for phase current input ratings: Winding 1 = 1 A, Winding 2 = 1 A, Winding 3 = 5A. The model has three windings per phase, and the ground input current ratings are both 5 A.
