About the FM2-712-C

This unit of the Feeder Manager 2 line of hardware is designated under the ID classification of “FM2-712-C.” The Feeder Manager 2 modules are a part of the General Electric series known as the Multilin series.

The FM2 modules are all outfitted with a large array of similar details, protective measures, and specifications. The features included are items like a three phase thermal overload protection unit,  (rated at 49/51), and earth fault protective measures, rated at 50 Gs. An undervoltage reclose system is installed as well, to be utilized if the intake received is less than the nominal amount needed (which is up to 120 volts of alternating current, or 50 hertz of energy).

The FM2-712-C unit is a black box variation of the Feeder Manager design, similar to the FM2-722-C model. This means that this unit is designed without a display monitor, with a keypad and status LED indicator lights. Multilin's EnerVista FM2 software program can be used to edit setpoints, check parameters, and perform other tasks that could normally be performed using the integrated liquid-crystal display.
