About the MM300-GEHDSCABD
The Multilin Motor Management lineup of devices are a series that were designed and built by General Electric’s division of industrial automation technology. The MM300 models are designed as control units, built to offer module motor protection and utilize a control system, only for use in low voltage motor applications. The MM300’s frame is built as compactly and as efficient with space as it can possibly be.
The application functions of these units range within the expected duties, such as the management, protection, and control of low voltage, alternating current motors. There are advanced automation capabilities that provide a wide array of customization for the motor’s protection, depending on the user’s needs. The controller processing abilities are streamlined and fully integrated into the MM300 line’s software, due in part to the FlexLogic programming software. This advanced series of software eliminates the reliance on programmable logic controllers that are local and on site.
These units reduce the amount of space that would be required to integrate the motors with numerous amounts of individual attachment devices. The network connections that are possible for the MM300 line include protocols such as the Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, a Profibus DPV1, an internally powered Profibus, or an ODVA compliant DeviceNet.
This unit, the MM300-GEHDSCABD, is outfitted with a standard DeviceNet Slave 10/100 Modbus TCP. There are physical ports for both a USB and an EtherNet connection. There are two 10 amp form A relays, and a set of 6 digital inputs.
