About the MM300-GEHS2CAXXXX
The MM300 series is a line of low voltage motor management units that were designed to fully integrate protection and control applications, as well as run automation, diagnostic, and metering functions. This series is from the General Electric Multilin motor management series. These models were once in mass production from GE’s industrial automation branch, but have since fallen out of production as their functionality has been surpassed by newer technology. Nonetheless, the relay is still perfectly capable of monitoring, protecting, and managing motor systems, and AX Control will refurbish all units before sending them out to buyers.
The main features of the Multilin line range from the full protection of AC, low voltage motors. There is also the advanced customization options for both protection and integrated process control functions. The processing software, the FlexLogic programming package, is integrated to reduce the need for local programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This programming in turn reduces the need for attachment modules, which alleviates the amount of space needed for the MM300 series and any additional equipment. The applications that this model is capable of handling includes not only just low voltage, three phase, AC motors, but also for MCC and standalone panel mount applications. IEC and NEMA class motors also operate well under an MM300 model’s control.
The MM300-GEHS2CAXXXX module is equipped with a graphical control panel and an integrated USB. The power intake for this unit ranges between 80 to 250 V/DC, or 60 to 300 V/AC. The standard communication for this unit is with an RS485 Modbus RTU. However, apart from the set of two relays and six digit input modules, this unit is not covered by any other forms of protection or offers any other method of communication.
