About the MM300_Rack
The MM300_Rack is part of the MM300 Motor Management System from General Electric. This Multilin system is designed for modular motor protection of low-voltage motor applications with a small footprint. This base unit is designed to panel mount using self-tap screws. DIN rail mounting is also an option.
The MM300_Rack is composed of a power supply, a CPU, and two I/O modules. Additional modules can be added to this base unit to expand the capabilities of the MM300_Rack through the addition of optional expansion modules. This has a power rating of 80 to 250 VDC standard or 60 to 300 VAC.
The MM300_Rack does not include USB ports. However, the unit has the ability to connect to standard DeviceNet ModBus Slave (10/100) using a TCP suite. The module also has to 10 amp form A relays and six digital inputs. These need 60-300 VAC. The unit also includes an RS-485 communication interface.
MM300_Racks typically provide thermal protection and integrate stator and rotor heating into one model. A trip will occur if thermal capacity reaches 100%. Thermal modeling uses unbalance current biasing, hot and cold biasing, RTD biasing, and overload protection to determine thermal capacity used. The unit also accounts for the cooling rate of heat dissipation. GE Multilin MM300 manuals will have an in-depth analysis of how this information is used.
For additional information about the MM300_Rack including detailed installation instructions, please review GE documents like manuals and user guides. AX Control typically ships out in-stock products within a few hours of your order being processed.
