About the F35-G03-HPH-F8F-H6N-M8F-P5C-U5D-W7A
Equipped with protective functions such as Under/Overfrequency protection and metering capabilities such as Waveform Capture, Multilin’s F35-G03-HPH-F8F-H6N-M8F-P5C-U5D-W7A is a Multiple Feeder Protection System that offers many features in a single, highly-versatile system.
The F35-G03-HPH-F8F-H6N-M8F-P5C-U5D-W7A supports PTP (Presicion Time Protocol) by synchronizing to international time standards using the Ethernet communications function. PTP is implemented according to IEEE Std 1588 2008 and IEC 61588:2009, the latter of which is occasionally referred to as version 2 PTP. This helps provide accurate time-tagging capabilities for the relay. In systems involving multiple relays, a master/slave logic is created that identifies a “grandmaster” timekeeper unit according to which unit possesses the most accurate time tracking capabilities, usually through GPS satellites or an alternative link to international time clocks. A new grandmaster role can automatically be assumed if the system discovered an improved timekeeping aspect has been added.
General Electric Multilin’s FlexCurve technology allows users to create customized curves for time overcurrent protection rather than using standard curves such as IEEE and IEC inverse curves. Existing system settings allow FlexCurves to reset and operate pickup levels 0.00 to 0.98 and 1.03 to 20.00. The relay offers FlexCurves A-D. While basic FlexCurve management can be performed using the relay’s keypad and display, the EnerVista UR software program provides a vastly improved interface for configuration and management of this technology. Data points can be entered in EnerVista manually or curve data can be automatically imported from a .csv formatted file.
