About the F35-K03-HLH-F8L-H6E-M8L-P67-U6C-W67
General Electric Multilin’s F35-K03-HLH-F8L-H6E-M8L-P67-U6C-W67 is a Multiple Feeder Management System and part of the company’s Universal Relays series. It is capable of monitoring, protecting, and controlling 5-6 feeders, five with busbar voltage measurement and up to six feeders without.
The F35-K03-HLH-F8L-H6E-M8L-P67-U6C-W67 relay’s LAN redundancy feature delivers redundancy according to PRP-IEC 64239-3, eliminating the dependency on LAN reconfiguration and eliminating the usual switchover time that leaves LAN unavailable. During this function, the device functions as a dual attached node, transmitting packets of data over both redundant and main networks simultaneously; this way, at least one of the data packets will arrive with no time delay even in the event of network failure.
A variety of safeguarding mechanisms such as breaker reclosing, underfrequency protection, fault diagnostics, remote terminal unit functions, phase protection, and overcurrent and undervoltage protection are provided by the F35-K03-HLH-F8L-H6E-M8L-P67-U6C-W67. In addition to safeguarding the multiple feeder system, the F35 can employ metering to gather system parameters such as actual temperature, energy use, and more.
The system runs on a system of highly configurable settings that are most easily created, deleted, and edited on a computer connected to the relay running Multilin’s EnerVista UR software program. Settings can impact everything in the system, ranging from something as minor as disabling pushbutton functions to things as major as when alarms and trips trigger based off system parameters. A few examples of configurable settings include SECURITY, DISPLAY PROPERTIES, OSCILLOGRAPHY, FLEX STATE PARAMETERS, and TELEPROTECTION.
