About the T60-G11-HKH-F8L-H6N-M8L-P6M-UXX-WXX
Able to function between temperatures of -40°F to 140°F, General Electric Multilin’s T60-G11-HKH-F8L-H6N-M8L-P6M-UXX-WXX is a highly resilient Transformer Protection System. It uses Multilin’s FlexLogic logic system to execute complex operations, employing up to 1024 lines of code to determine various relay functions. It has a number of protective features such as ground fault protection, over/undervoltage protection, and over/underfrequency protection.
The relay comes with over forty different LED indicators that reflect system health and processes, updating users about the status with labels such as IN SERVICE, TROUBLE, TRIP, ALARM, and TEST MODE. To provide an example of function, the TROUBLE LED indicates when the relay detects internal faults while the IN SERVICE LED indicates when the system is programmed, control power is properly applied, and system components are in proper function. The enhanced model of the unit also contains additional user-programmable LEDs for high-demand systems.
The T60-G11-HKH-F8L-H6N-M8L-P6M-UXX-WXX uses the type 7 communication series to enable direct messaging between Universal Relay devices. The channels are typically connected in a ring configuration with the receiver of one module connecting to the transmitter of the module before it. This connection format continues in a circular fashion, hence the label of ‘ring configuration’.
This unit can also record up to 1024 time stamped events, reducing troubleshooting time and promoting a greater sense of understanding of the unique transformer system. The relay is capable of automatically deleting the oldest event as new events are recorded, though users can also manually clear the event log using EnerVista UR or the LCD and keypad.
