Outfitted with advanced automation capabilities using Multilin’s FlexLogic technology, GE’s T60-N04-HKH-F8M-H6P-M8R-P6P-U6P-WXX is a Transformer Management System that works with transformers of small, medium, and large sizes. It is compliant with IEEE C37.91 standards and provides high-speed protective functions in response to system faults. The relay can automatically resolve faults, or at least shield system components in the event that these faults transpire.
The relay possesses a number of communications options that reduce the need for hardwiring and enable the high-speed, secure transfer of data between contact points and UR relays. The Direct I/O connection, RS232 port, RS485 port, RS422 port, and Ethernet options provide versatile options for establishing communications within the transformer system.
Monitoring and metering functions provided by the relay include oscillography waveform capture at 64 samples per cycle, event recording (up to 1024 time-tagged events), and data logging. The data logging element offers sixteen different channels allowing for up to one sample per cycle. Users can configure which parameters are sampled and recorded, and this data can be downloaded to EnerVista UR for further review. This information is also retained when power is lost since data is stored in non-volatile memory.
Multilin’s EnerVista software offers the T60-N04-HKH-F8M-H6P-M8R-P6P-U6P-WXX a suite of tools with which to edit settings, trend and export data, prepare for cyber security audits, and more. The program comes with the relay and can be downloaded from Multilin’s website or installed through a DVD. Requirements for a computer running the EnerVista UR program are extremely minimal, so users do not have to invest in expensive computing equipment.
