This model of the Horner Electric Operator Control Station unit is a part of the HE 500 series of OCS units. These OCSs are regarded as an all in one piece of equipment, able to manage the duties of up to 3 different devices.
The HE 500 OCS modules are built with efficiency in mind in their design, given the compact dimensions of their frame. These units are each outfitted with a high quality, crisp resolution graphic display, set for optimal process visualization and machine indication and recording. The memory of these models is capable of being outfitted with a MicroSD, expandable, removable memory card. Integrated into these models are a set of input and output ports, as well as a set of serial and download ports, which are compatible with all of the major programmable logic controllers and system networks. There are also the optional compatibilities for an EtherNet connection, and wireless and telephone modem options for both on site and remote connections.
The HE500OCS032 module is built with a setup of exactly 16 input and output ports: 8 inputs and 8 outputs. The unit is built to run on a power intake between 12 and 24 volts of direct current (V/DC). This unit is also run on an intake of 0.5 ampere watts/ESCP.
