The HE 500 series was developed by Horner APG, which, at the time was known simply as Horner Electric. The HE 500 models are Operator Control Stations, which were once the top of line products to manage and control other functions that other pieces of equipment handle. These models are now classified as outdated and obsolete, but, after being completely refurbished and repaired by AX Control’s technicians and repair staff, are just as capable as today's hardware.
The HE 500 models are all built with the same dimensions in mind, designed to be the compact controller of the industrial technology at work in the work line. The HE 500 series comes with a built in graphical display--a high quality, intense, crisp resolution image that allows for a more effective display to the operators present. This graphic display is built with a thin film transistor to adapt to intense external lighting, letting the operator read and utilize the HE 500 series better.
The HE 500 model of Operator Control Stations is built with numerous external connection ports, such as general purpose input and outputs, and download and serial input and outputs. The amount of general inputs that come with this model, the HE500OCS042, is 28 in total. There are 16 direct current inputs (measured at 12 to 24 volts/DC) and then 12 direct current outputs, measured at 5 to 24 volts of direct current).
