About the HE500OCS045
HE500OCS045
The HE500OCS045 is a module within the designated HE 500 lineup of Operator Control Stations. These HE 500 units were developed and produced by what is now known as Horner APG, though at the time they were branded as Horner Electric. These models were top of the line units built to do the work of three devices. Each model is outfitted to manage machine processing, monitor their progress, and connect input and output lines.
The HE 500 models all share a wide array of hardware features amongst themselves. The frame of these models is rated with a 4/12 NEMA grade, and is designed to be as compact and light as possible. This smaller size is intended to give operators the most amount of workspace possible. The advanced graphic display is designed to have a better visual grasp of the processes at hand. The graphic display is outfitted with a thin film transistor, that is able to render the image in a crisp, high quality resolution, and can counter the external lighting systems that may be too intense for other models.
The HE 500 models are all built with a number of input/output ports, whether for general purpose, or for serial or download capabilities. This module in particular, the HE500OCS045 model, is equipped with a set of 24 general I/O ports in total. There are 14 direct current input ports, with a charge between 12 to 24 V/DC. The rest are 10 relay output ports, measured at 3 amperes of energy.
