About the HE500OCS049
HE500OCS049
This unit is given the classification of HE500OSC: a Horner Electric (HE) 500 module Operator Control Station (OCS).
The HE 500 modules share several hardware features that come integrated into these units, internally, and externally. Most notably would be the HE 500’s standard interface, which is comprised of a graphic display, a set of physical buttons and keypads, while there is also a series of LED lights to indicate the connectivity status and actions of the unit. The HE 500’s graphical display is built with a thin film transistor module. The advanced TFT module allows for operators to see a clearly rendered report of the automated process. The backlighting in these units makes it accessible in even the most intensely lit work areas.
The HE 500 series is also built to include network connectivity capabilities, which consists of an Ethernet connection and a wireless and phone modem. The latter is designed for both remote connection and on-site data transfer. The application memory for this model is only able to be synced up with a MicroSD memory card. This card allows for data to be stored locally, and includes the capabilities to handle program updates for the HE 500’s running software.
The HE500OCS049 module is outfitted with a specific addition, however: a temperature control input set of 4 ports.
Horner Electric, since the development and production of the HE 500 series, has rebranded into Horner APG. These models too, even though most would regard these as outdated and obsolete, have been completely refurbished by the technicians and repair staff of AX Control.
