The HE500OCS057 unit is one of the large, wide variety series of Operator Control Stations, which were developed by Horner Electric. That company is now called Horner APG, and these models are outdated and obsolete, and are now out of production. However, our technicians at AX Control have completely refurbished the HE500OCS057 and the rest of the HE 500 Operator Control Stations.
The HE 500 series shares numerous hardware features, such as the most obvious, the graphical display. This display is equipped with a thin film transistor (TFT) module that renders the report graphics in a stunningly clear and effective quality. The model is built with that integrated into it, and underneath it is a set of keys and switches, and LED indicator lights, to inform the operators of any changes in the status or activity of the unit.
The HE 500 series also includes a removable, program update supporting memory card, the MicroSD, which allows for operators to store its data locally, and easily transfer it over to other devices. The input and output models is where the HE 500 modules differ. This unit, the HE500OCS057, is equipped with a total of 16 inputs and outputs. There are 8 input modules, which rely on 12 to 24 volts of direct current. There are 8 positive logic output modules, with 5 to 24 volts of direct current.
