This unit is designated by the Horner Electric company as the HE500OCS064. The Horner Electric company designed and built all of the several different models in the HE 500 lineup of Operator Control Station units. The unit’s designation ID is easy to decode, with HE being Horner Electric (though the company is now under the name of Horner APG), and 500 being the number designation of the HE 500 series. OCS standard for Operator Control Station. The 064 is what designates this unit apart from all of the others.
The HE 500 series are all in one products, which were designed to achieve the workload of three separate devices. Its frame is built with a framework that is rated with a 4/12 NEMA rating. Integrated into this unit is a graphic display system, which is equipped with a thin film transistor module. Beneath the graphic display is a set of keys and switches, as well as a series of LED indicators for the module’s status and actions.
The HE500OCS064 module is developed to have a total of 16 input and output ports divided equally between the two. There are 8 positive logic, direct current input ports, and 8 negative logic direct current outputs. The direct current that these ports can handle are from 5 to 24 volts of DC.
