About the HE500OCS072
HE500OCS072
This all in one device was built and produced by the Horner Electric company, and is designated as one of the HE 500 series. This lineup of products is made entirely of Operator Control Stations, which are built to do the work of three different pieces of equipment.
The HE 500 series share a wide degree of similar features. Most notable of these features is the graphic display interface, which is comprised of a display with a thin film transistor module, as well as a series of keys and switches to enter in commands and actions for this unit’s reporting. Beneath that, there’s a set of LED lights to indicate if there are any changes in the system network connection, and if any actions are being taken. The graphic display is set up to provide operators with a better visual of the automation process, and has more advanced machine indication.
The HE 500 series is designed with a compact and durable frame, and, when compared to purchasing both a programmable logic controller and Operator Interface module, is more affordable. The memory capabilities of this module allow it to be integrated with a removable MicroSD memory card. This card is capable of handling updates in programming, while being able to store data locally.
The HE500OCS072 model in particular is outfitted with a specific set of input and output modules, which is the defining feature in each model. This unit is built with a total of 28 I/O modules. There are 16 inputs that can handle a direct current intake of 12 to 24 V/DC, and then 12 negative logic outputs. These outputs can handle 5 to 24 V/DC.
