About the HE500OCS100G
HE500OCS100G
The Horner Electric manufacturing company, which is now known as the Horner APG company, is the group behind the Operator Control Station series of models, the HE 500 series. The HE 500 lineup is a large range of these OCS modules, which are built to share a large degree of integrated hardware features.
The HE 500 series is built to include a standard 2 line, 20 character per line informational display, which is outfitted with a thin film transistor module. The better graphics offered by the more advanced display makes it able to have a more efficient visualization for users to see the automation process and precisely which pieces of equipment are under the OCS unit’s control.
The HE 500 series is outfitted with several methods of connection and communication, with an option for an Ethernet connection, and both a wireless and telephone modem module connection. There is also a MicroSD memory card integration port, and it allows for data to be stored and removed and transferred locally. These connectivity possibilities make the HE 500 series is able to be a valuable piece of technology, and able to transfer information both on site and remotely.
The HE500OCS100G module is built as one of the operator control station models, with an integrated CPU unit. The graphic display is rendered in a 64 K detail, and is able to be viewed by users regardless of the brightness levels in the automation line that other display screens may not be able to be read in.
The technician team at AX Control have been able to efficiently refurbish and repair this unit, as well as the rest of Horner Electric’s series of OCS units.
