About the HE500OCS250M-32
HE500OCS250M-32
The Horner Electric line of Operator Control Stations is known as the HE 500 series. These models are all in one units that are designed to be comprised of several individual components of technology. In this compact framework, there is a controller module, a set of Input and Output modules (which are either direct serial and download connections, or adapter ports for I/O expansion attachments) and an operator interface module. These Operator Control Stations are controlled by a ladder based programming engine that is run by a high performance, highly rated processor, the Intel 296. The input and output units that the HE 500 models are built with range in both the number of ports and their electrical specifications and their intended purpose. Up to 4 Input and Output Expansion modules are able to be connected into the ports on the HE500OCS200 and HE500OCS250 range HE 500 OCS units.
The operator interface of the HE500OCS250M-32 runs on 24 volts of direct current, or, as alternative power source, 8.4 watts. The display ranges between a text display with only 2 lines of text at 20 characters per line. This 2 line, 20 character display is also paired with a keypad of 17 buttons to properly operate the unit and efficiently enter numerical data.
The more advanced graphical displays are built with a thin film transistor, either that or a super twisted nematic display, as this model is outfitted with.
The HE500OCS250M-32 module is protected, much like the rest of the HE 500 series under AX Control’s inventory, by our warranty.
