The HE 500 lineup from Horner Electric is a series of the Operator Control Station models. These devices fall into a wide range of units, all of which are all in one devices that cover the abilities and duties of three separate units.
The HE 500 series comes outfitted with an operator interface, and the capabilities of a controller module. Integrated into the frame of these units are various specifications of Input and Output modules. More advanced modules from this series are outfitted with a touch screen modules. The HE500OCS451B is designed with an 8.4 inch/213.36 millimeter sized, resistive, full color touch screen unit.
This touch screen unit is outfitted internally with a thin film transistor display module, and a Super Video Graphics Array (SVGA). This SVGA unit is able to render and process the graphics into a fine, high quality image resolution.
This model is one of the more advanced series that is capable of supporting the high performance Input and Output System. These I/O modules are capable of supporting the SmartStack I/O expansion module. These expansion attachments are capable to operate by physical hookup (plastic fiber optic cables) as well as remotely. Via remote hookup, the SmartStack expansion units have an operational range of up to 10 meters, or 32.6 feet.
This unit, as well as the rest of the advanced models in this subdivision, are made operational due in part to the Windows based 32 bit programming software, Cscape.
